And I'm very pro-cat and think people should have kitties whether spinsters or not.
(You probably want a pair though, because one bored cat equals lots of mischief.)

I've had 2 cats in my lifetime (one I wanted and one was foisted upon me) and that was quite enough.
Someday I'd like to finally own a house and have a big backyard for a Doberman that I would name Aeryn Sun (pronounced "soon", I'm a Farscape geek).
